Meetings

Meetings are at the heart of the VTCLA organization. These opportunities are important for networking, professional learning, and gaining critical insight into current policy and practice directives from the legislature and AOE. The most important feature of our meetings is the opportunity for the collective voice and expertise of Vermont’s Curriculum Leaders to shape and inform the landscape of student-centered education in our state.

We are looking forward to returning to additional in-person meetings for the 2022-2023 school year. Although some uncertainty lingers, we have developed a tentative hybrid meeting schedule for the year:

  • Friday, September 22: Full-day in-person kick-off meeting at Capitol Plaza, Montpelier

  • Friday, November 3: Virtual half-day meeting on Zoom

  • Friday, January 5: Virtual half-day meeting on Zoom

  • Friday, April 5: Full-day in-person culminating meeting at Capitol Plaza, Montpelier

  • Friday, May 3: Virtual half-day meeting on Zoom

  • May 16-17: Joint Mtg at TBD

Whether you are new to VTCLA, a returning member, or professional organization partner, you can click the Join Now button below to establish your membership for the 2023-2024 school year. In addition, we have added new benefits for the full individual membership package, along with a differentiated membership fee and benefits for professional organizations. Members and prospective members will be mailed agendas, and or Zoom links for our meetings. Our connections with each other and with our partners in education continue to be vital to our successful collaboration on behalf of all learners in Vermont. We value our members and our partners.
